CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS EL ZAGAL'S ESCORT MOTOR PATROL <br /> REVISED 12/12/2009 <br /> Patrol meeting shall take office on January 1st and shall hold office for the ensuing year <br /> or until their successors are elected. <br /> Section 2. The regular unit business meetings shall be held on the first Monday of each <br /> month at 6PM. If the regular meeting date falls on a holiday the meeting will be held on <br /> the second Monday. Proper notice of each meeting should be given whenever possible, <br /> however lack of proper notice will not preclude this meeting from being held. A quorum <br /> consisting of 35% of the voting membership must be present to legally conduct any <br /> meeting or transact any business. Proxies, written or verbal, are not recognized. Voting <br /> rights shall be restricted to members other than honorary. <br /> Section3. Practices will be called at the discretion of the Director or his designee when <br /> necessary. <br /> ARTICLE VIII <br /> Approval and Amendments <br /> Section 1. These bylaws shall become effective upon adoption by a majority vote of the <br /> voting members present at a duly called meeting subject to final approval by the <br /> Potentate. <br /> Section 2. These bylaws may be amended by having the proposed changes first <br /> approved by the Executive Committee and if acceptable presenting the changes on <br /> written form at a regular unit meeting and notification to members by email.
