He stated that as he works along, there are more fittings and pipes feplacing old pipffi <br />that are in need of being replaced. Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded where necessary <br />,that the employee of Midwest Mechanical be authorized to continue replacing old pipes I <br />'where necessary, and that he report to Mr. Sandra 11 and Mr. Hendrickson periodically. Concerning payment of the bills, the representative of Midwest Mechanical 'II <br />istated that payment could be delayed until June, and the Board asked that a monthly statement <br />[be submitted in order for the County to have an idea of the cost periodically. I <br /> <br />Upon the request of the Page Housing Development, Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton JCounty Shop in <br />seconded that a letter be written stating the Board's authorization to move the County Shop iPage to be moved <br />building in Page from the West 30' of Lot 2 in the SW~ of Section 31, Page Township, lat the req. and ' <br />to Lot 9, Block 1, First Addition to the City of Page in order for them to continue their /expense of the <br />project of constructing an elderly housing unit; the building to be moved at the expense Page Housing Auth <br />'of the Page Housing Development. Motion carried. I <br /> <br />The County Road Superintendent reported that a meeting was held to discuss the price IC5 project--price <br />of right of way for the County Road 5 project near Wheatland. Everyone present agreed jof $400 per acre <br />on a price of $400.00 per acre. I agreed upon <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson represented the Board at a hearing on February 14th on annexation jResolution <br />to the Hunter Rural Fire Protection District. He stated that no one protestedj 'a~proving annexa- <br />the annexation. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Chairman t~on to Hunter <br />'and the Auditor be authorized to sign the resolution approving the annexation IFire District <br />:to the Hunter Rural Fire Protection District. Jensen for the Club 94 in Section 2', Everest Township. <br />:Motion carried. <br />I <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Application for Abatement and <br />Settlement of Taxes submitted by John P. and Norma I. ~1urphy be received, filed and <br />referred to Stanley Township. Motion carried. <br /> <br />A letter was received from the Southeast Cass Water Management District stating <br />that bids were opened for snagging and cleaning the Sheyenne River, but they were <br />considerably higher than estimated due to the heavy snowfall. Mr. Hendrickson and <br />'Mrs. Stanton questioned cleaning the river during winter. Mrs. Stanton moved and <br />Mr. Satrom seconded that the letter be received and filed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Hr. Sondrallmoved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Humane Society be allowed <br />to temporarily hold evening meetings in the Conference Room of the Juvenile Justice <br />Center and EOC building. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the letter from the Ward County <br />Auditor regarding the position of Administrative Assistant, which the Board inquired about, <br />be received, filed and placed on the agenda this spring for further discussion. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that bids be opened for the <br />Road Department's yearly supplies.
