<br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES OF VIRTUAL / CONFERENCE CALL MEETING <br />NORTH CASS WATER RESOURCE DISTRICT <br />ORIGINATING AT THE CASS COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT <br />WEST FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA <br />JUNE 28, 2022 <br /> <br /> <br />A virtual / conference call meeting of the North Cass Water Resource District was held <br />on June 28, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Present were Wes Ecker, Chairman; Robert Thompson, Manager; Ken Lougheed, <br />Manager; Carol Harbeke Lewis, Secretary-Treasurer; Nina Stone, Accountant; Sean <br />Fredricks, Ohnstad Twichell, P.C.; Kurt Lysne, Alexa Ducioame, Brady Woodard and Pat <br />Downs, Moore Engineering, Inc.; Mary Scherling, Cass County Commissioner; and Tom <br />Soucy, Cass County Highway Department. <br /> <br />Agenda and Minutes <br />It was moved by Manager Lougheed, seconded by Manager Thompson and unanimously <br />carried to approve the order of the agenda and the minutes of the May 24, 2022, meeting, <br />as presented. <br /> <br />Drain #18 extension in Sections 7 and 8 of Kinyon Township <br />Alexa Ducioame reviewed the bid tabulation for the Drain #18 extension in Sections 7 <br />and 8 of Kinyon Township. The acquisition of right of way for the project was also <br />reviewed. <br /> <br />It was moved by Manager Lougheed and seconded by Manager Thompson to award the <br />contract for the Drain #18 extension in Sections 7 and 8 of Kinyon Township to Gladen <br />Construction, Inc. for the low bid of $239,432.40 and to authorize the Chairman to sign <br />the same. Upon roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The Board agreed in principle to the request from Mark Backstrom to extend the culvert <br />in the NE 1/4 of Section 17 in Kinyon Township. Moore Engineering, Inc. will get a price <br />quote for the culvert extension. <br /> <br />It was moved by Manager Thompson and seconded by Manager Lougheed to approve <br />the Purchase Agreements with Gene Foster and Louis Rosenau regarding the Drain #18 <br />extension in Sections 7 and 8 in Kinyon Township. Upon roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
