<br />Commission Minutes--June 7, 1999 1984 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JUNE 7,1999 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Robbie Quick called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider and Robbie Quick. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following additions: 1) contracts with North <br />Dakota Department of Transportation, North Dakota Game and Fish <br />Department, and State of North Dakota Court Services; 2) resolution <br />of condolence to Ransom County Commissioner, Judy Tangen; and <br />3) flood update. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. PERMIT FOR FIREWORKS DISPLAY, Approved for Wild Rice Bar & Grill. Inc. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve a fireworks display <br />permit at the Wild Rice Bar & Grill, Inc. to be held June 5, 1999, Wild Rice, <br />ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Approved for Shamrock Bar <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve a special <br />alcoholic beverage permit for the Shamrock Bar for a wedding dance <br />to be held June 12, 1999, at the home of Herb and Anita Sommerfield, <br />Wheatland, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Policy 9.50. Adopt-A-Highway Program <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to amend Commission <br />Policy Manual, Section 9.50, by adding County Road 15 from County <br />Road 36 north 3 miles to County Road 16 to the list of Adopt-A- <br />Highway segments. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Spring weight restrictions discontinued for gravel county roads <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to discontinue spring <br />weight restrictions for gravel-surfaced county highways on June 7, <br />1999. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />
