<br />Commission Minutes--ApriI19, 1999 1967 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />APRIL 19,1999 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Robbie Quick called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present <br />as follows: Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Donna Schneider and Robbie Quick. Alon Wieland was <br />absent. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of <br />the last regular meeting held April 5, 1999, and minutes of the special <br />meeting held April 12, 1999, be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order <br />of the agenda as circulated. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. RESOLUTION #1999-8, Condolences to Arlene Sprunk family <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve Resolution <br />#1999-8, as follows: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #1999-8 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Cass County Commissioners has learned of the death of Arlene <br />Sprunk of Fargo, North Dakota; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arlene Sprunk was an employee of Cass County Government for 35 years. She <br />was a dedicated employee as indicated by the number of years of service to the <br />citizens of this county. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Cass County Board of Commissioners does hereby <br />express its heartfelt condolences to the family of Arlene Sprunk. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be inscribed upon the permanent records <br />of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners and a copy forwarded to her family. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATIONS, Veterans Incorporated. pending State's Attorney <br />approval <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to grant a site <br />authorization permit to conduct games of chance under license <br />issued by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period <br />of July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2000, subject to State's Attorney <br />
