Commission Minutes--ApriI19, 1999 1967 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS APRIL 19,1999 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairperson Robbie Quick called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present as follows: Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Donna Schneider and Robbie Quick. Alon Wieland was absent. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the last regular meeting held April 5, 1999, and minutes of the special meeting held April 12, 1999, be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order of the agenda as circulated. Motion carried. 4. RESOLUTION #1999-8, Condolences to Arlene Sprunk family MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve Resolution #1999-8, as follows: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION #1999-8 WHEREAS, the Board of Cass County Commissioners has learned of the death of Arlene Sprunk of Fargo, North Dakota; and WHEREAS, Arlene Sprunk was an employee of Cass County Government for 35 years. She was a dedicated employee as indicated by the number of years of service to the citizens of this county. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Cass County Board of Commissioners does hereby express its heartfelt condolences to the family of Arlene Sprunk. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be inscribed upon the permanent records of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners and a copy forwarded to her family. 5. PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATIONS, Veterans Incorporated. pending State's Attorney approval MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to grant a site authorization permit to conduct games of chance under license issued by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2000, subject to State's Attorney
