<br />Commission Minutes--April 5, 1999 1958 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />APRIL 5,1999 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Robbie Quick called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present <br />as follows: Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Robbie Quick. Donna Schneider was <br />absent. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order apDroved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following additions: contract with Houston <br />Engineering and Lake Agassiz Regional Council/Development <br />Corporation discussion. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. NATIONAL COUNTY GOVERNMENT WEEK PROCLAMATION, April 18-24. 1999 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to proclaim the week of <br />April 18-24, 1999, as National County Government Week. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Nora Lutheran Sunday School <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve raffle permit <br />for Nora Lutheran Sunday School to be held July 18,1999, atthe Nora <br />Lutheran Church in Gardner, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LOT, Quit Claim Deed to Tower City <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to deed the south fifty <br />feet of Lots Fifteen and Sixteen, Block Eight, Original Townsite of <br />Tower City, to the City of Tower City upon payment by the city of the <br />purchase price of one dollar and applicable recording fees. On roll <br />call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Sale of excess highway equiDment <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to authorize the sale of <br />excess county highway equipment, according to a memorandum from <br />
