<br />Commission Minutes--August 3, 1998 1845 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AUGUST 3, 1998 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:40 PM with all members present <br />as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that the minutes of the <br />July 15 and July 20, 1998, special meetings and the July 20, 1998, <br />regular meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to amend the July 6,1998, <br />Commission minutes (page #1831) by changing the name of <br />"Blackmont" to the correct spelling, "Blackmore," concerning the <br />proposed resolution declaring public necessity to take land for the <br />County Road 31 reconstruction project. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: 1) <br />contract with Border States Paving for County Highway Improvement <br />District #98-1; and 2) letter of support for Housing Authority's <br />application for additional housing vouchers. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. ASSESSMENT OF OMITTED PROPERTIES, Sorum: Wilberscheid: Berger: Motschenbacher: <br />and Scherling <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to add part of Lot 12, Block <br />4, Dakota Park Addition to the City of Fargo as omitted property for the <br />year 1998 in the amount of $63,400 residential lot and structure, <br />according to notice from the county auditor to Robert J. Sorum, Fargo. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to add Lot 23, Block 2, Fox <br />Run Addition to the City of Fargo as omitted property for the year 1998 <br />in the amount of $162,400 residential lot and structure, according to <br />notice from the county auditor to Thomas & Deonia Wilberscheid, <br />Fargo. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to add part of Lots 3 and <br />4, Block 4, Westfield 1st Addition to the City of Fargo as omitted <br />
