<br />Commission Minutes-July 20, 1998 1837 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JULY 20, 1998 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order about 3:45 PM with all members <br />present as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna <br />Schneider. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting of July 6, 1998, be approved as written. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda by withdrawing final plat approvals of Nelson Acres <br />Subdivision and BRC Subdivision, per request of the County Planner, <br />Joel Quanbeck; and adding demolition bids for flood buyout <br />properties to the regular agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. COURTHOUSE OFFICE SPACE, District Court allowed temporary use ofunoccuDied space <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to allow District Court to <br />temporarily utilize unoccupied space on the second floor of the Cass <br />County Courthouse for attorney/client conferences, subject to the <br />county's future space needs. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. LOST INSTRUMENT BONDS, Received and filed for Kenneth Erickson and Betty Larsen <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file <br />Indemnity Bonds on Lost Instrument for Kenneth Erickson and for <br />Betty Larsen; and authorize the county treasurer and the county <br />auditor to issue duplicate checks. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />6. EXTENSION SERVICE, Budget adiustment for Parenting Resource Center <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the 1998-1999 <br />Parenting Resource Center revenue and expenditure budget be <br />adjusted by the above amounts to include the supplemental projects <br />
