Commission Minutes-July 20, 1998 1837 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JULY 20, 1998 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order about 3:45 PM with all members present as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOT/ON, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting of July 6, 1998, be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOT/ON, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of the agenda by withdrawing final plat approvals of Nelson Acres Subdivision and BRC Subdivision, per request of the County Planner, Joel Quanbeck; and adding demolition bids for flood buyout properties to the regular agenda. Motion carried. 4. COURTHOUSE OFFICE SPACE, District Court allowed temporary use ofunoccuDied space MOT/ON, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to allow District Court to temporarily utilize unoccupied space on the second floor of the Cass County Courthouse for attorney/client conferences, subject to the county's future space needs. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 5. LOST INSTRUMENT BONDS, Received and filed for Kenneth Erickson and Betty Larsen MOT/ON, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bonds on Lost Instrument for Kenneth Erickson and for Betty Larsen; and authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue duplicate checks. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 6. EXTENSION SERVICE, Budget adiustment for Parenting Resource Center MOT/ON, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the 1998-1999 Parenting Resource Center revenue and expenditure budget be adjusted by the above amounts to include the supplemental projects
