Commission Minutes-February 17, 1998 1777 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 17, 1998 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with the following members present: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer and Donna Schneider. Alon Wieland was absent. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting held February 2, 1998 be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions: 1) purchase order for Chevrolet Suburban for the County Highway Department; 2) Resolution Declaring Public Necessity to Take Land for Harwood Township bridge replacement; and 3) Resolution to Implement Spring County Road Weight Restrictions. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 4. ELECTION BALLOTS AND SUPPLIES, Bid awarded to Knight Printing Company MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to award bid to Knight Printing Company for furnishing 1998 Primary and General Election ballots and supplies. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 5. PERMIT FOR RAFFLES, Minn-Kota Feline Club: Kindred Area Merchant's Association MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve raffle permit for Minn-Kota Feline Club to be held April 5, 1998, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, West Fargo, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve raffle permit for Kindred Area Merchant's Association to be held on March 27 and 28, 1998, atthe Kindred High School, Kindred, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
