<br />Commission Minutes--January 20, 1998 1766 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JANUARY 20, 1998 (TUESDAY) <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present <br />as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer and Donna Schneider. Alon Wieland was <br />attending another meeting on behalf of the county and arrived at the Commission meeting about <br />4:20 PM. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve minutes of the <br />last meeting held January 6, 1998. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Kindred Lions Club <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve raffle permit for <br />Kindred Lions Club to be held March 6, 1998, at the Kindred School in <br />Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, County Planning Commission appointment <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to rescind action of January <br />6, 1998, appointing Gary Lee of Casselton to the Cass County Planning <br />Commission; and to reappoint Duane Boehning from the City of Fargo <br />to serve another 4-year term on the Cass County Planning Commission. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase order approved for loader <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve and sign <br />purchase order for a four-wheeled, rubber tired loader from ROO <br />Equipment in the amount of $186,717. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />7. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Receive and file for The Title Company <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to receive and file Indemnity <br />Bond on Lost Instrument for The Title Company, and authorize the <br />county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a duplicate check. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />
