Commission Minutes--July 21, 1997 1663 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> JULY 21, 1997--CASSELTON CITY HALL, CASSELTON ND <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with members present as follows: <br />Donna Schneider, John Meyer, Roberta Quick and Alon Wieland. Paul Koenig was absent. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that the minutes of the <br /> previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />= <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order of <br /> the agenda with the following changes: 1) contract with Northern <br /> Improvement Company added to contract approvals; and 2) adopt <br /> resolutions for Street Improvement District No. 97-1 (Round Hill). Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />PERMITS FOR RAFFLES/SITE AUTHORIZATION, St. Benedict's Church; Northern Plains <br />Rabbit Breeders Association; St. Peter's Lutheran Church; Red River Sno-Riders <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve raffle permit <br /> for St. Benedict's Church to be held September 21, 1997, at St. Benedict's <br /> Church, Horace, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve raffle permit <br />for Northern Plains Rabbit Breeders Association to be held October 4 and <br />5, 1997, at Bonanzaville, West Fargo, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve raffle permit <br />for St. Petsr's Lutheran Church WELCA to be held October 11, 1997, at St. <br />Peter's Lutheran Church, Leonard, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve Site <br />Authorization Permit for Red River Sno-Riders to conduct games of <br />chance at the Wild Rice Bar and Grill, Wild Rice, ND on the date of <br />December 6, 1997; according to documents provided to Red River Sno- <br />Riders by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office, Gaming Division. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
