Commission Minutes--August 19, 1996 1504 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AUGUST 19, 1996 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider, Bernie Ness and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the agenda. Motion carried. PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, St. Maurice's Catholic Church; West Fargo Legion Baseball MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle permit for St. Maurice's Catholic Church to be held November 23, 1996, at St. Maurice's Catholic Church, Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle permit for West Fargo Legion Baseball to be held September 20, 1996, at the Red River Fairgrounds, West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.00 (Advisory Boards) MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to amend Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, by appointing Francis Klein to fill a vacancy on the Special Assessment Commission for a term to expire December 31, 2002. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. WEED CUTTING NOTICE, Publication authorized MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the publication of notice for weed cutting according to North Dakota Century Code. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
