AD <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> AUGUST 5, 1996 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:50 PM with all members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider, Bernie Ness and Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the <br /> previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the <br /> agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />= <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Actions of July 16, 1996 ratified <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to ratify Personnel <br /> Overview Committee action of July 15, 1996, by amending Personnel <br /> Policy Manual Section 6.01, Military Leave, and Section 7.10, <br /> Performance Review (Appraisals). On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />REGISTER OF DEEDS, Grant re~.uest/bud~_et adjustment for computer equipment <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve a grant <br /> application by the Register of Deeds to the Secretary of State's Office <br /> for computer equipment for $2,500, with $700 from local sources. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend the Register <br />of Deeds budget to include an additional $1,800 in computer equipment <br />for 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />TAX EQUALIZATION DIRECTOR, Computer equipment purchase MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize purchase <br /> of a replacement PC for the Tax Equalization Office at a cost of <br /> approximately $1,600, with $1,000 to be paid from the Tax Equalization <br /> budget and the balance from the Data Processing budget repair and <br /> replacement line item. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
