Commission Minutes--March 4, 1996 1441 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MARCH 4, 1996 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider, Bernie Ness and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the order of the agenda. Motion carried. ASSESSMENT NOTICE OF OMITTED PROPERTY, Lot 13. Block 6. Prairie Crossing MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to add Lot 13, Block 6, Prairie Crossing, City of Fargo, as omitted property for the year 1995 in the amount of $22,300 true and full valuation, according to notice from the County Auditor. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out-of-state travel for Tony Krogh to attend surveillance training scheduled for March 25-27, 1996, in Des Moines, Iowa. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PRAIRIE PUBLIC BROADCASTING, Compliance with county comprehensive plan MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to provide letter of support to Prairie Public Broadcasting indicating compliance with Cass County's Comprehensive Land Use Plan, which will be submitted with their grant application for funding television training. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Gerald & Carolyn Keller MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Abatement #4020, submitted by Gerald and Carolyn Keller, be reduced to $79,000 for 1995. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
