Commission Minutes--March 4, 1996 1441 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> MARCH 4, 1996 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider, Bernie Ness and Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the <br /> previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the order of <br /> the agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT NOTICE OF OMITTED PROPERTY, Lot 13. Block 6. Prairie Crossing <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to add Lot 13, Block 6, <br /> Prairie Crossing, City of Fargo, as omitted property for the year 1995 in <br /> the amount of $22,300 true and full valuation, according to notice from <br /> the County Auditor. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for Tony Krogh to attend surveillance training scheduled for <br /> March 25-27, 1996, in Des Moines, Iowa. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PRAIRIE PUBLIC BROADCASTING, Compliance with county comprehensive plan <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to provide letter of <br /> support to Prairie Public Broadcasting indicating compliance with Cass <br /> County's Comprehensive Land Use Plan, which will be submitted with <br /> their grant application for funding television training. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Gerald & Carolyn Keller <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that Abatement #4020, <br /> submitted by Gerald and Carolyn Keller, be reduced to $79,000 for <br /> 1995. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
