Minutes--February 6, 1995 1292 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> FEBRUARY 6, 1995 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Bernie Ness called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, <br />Donna Schneider and Bernie Ness. Alon Wieland was absent. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve <br /> minutes of the previous meeting of January 3, 1995. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda with the following changes: Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />· b (add Social Services out-of-state travel for Ruby Knoll) <br /> i (quit claim deed in Reed Township moved to February 21 agenda) <br /> j (Metropolitan Bikeway Plan moved to regular agenda) <br /> m (add contract with Barnes County Correctional Facility) <br /> #1 (street improvement--one additional protest letter received) <br /> #4 (add resolution opposing Senate Bill 2388) <br />· #4 (add bid results for Normanna Township bridge replacement) <br /> <br />PERMITS FOR RAFFLE/BINGO, Kindred High Schoolr Kindred Lions, Hickson <br />Lutheran Church Women MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve <br /> raffle/bingo permits for the following: 1) Kindred High <br /> School Close-Up Club at Kindred High School on February 4 <br /> and February 11, 1995; 2) Kindred Lion's Club at Kindred <br /> High School on March 24, 1995; and 3) Hickson Lutheran <br /> Church Women at Hickson Lutheran Church on March 12, 1995. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for Sheriff's Deputy Tony Krogh to <br /> attend the Mid-States Technical Investigators Training <br /> Session in Topeka, KS on March 27-29, 1995. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for Roger Flynn and Beth Desotel to <br /> Fergus Falls, MN for staffing for foster care on January <br /> 19, 1995; and for Ruby Knoll to Roseau, MN for court <br /> hearing on child in placement on January 30, 1995.
