Minutes--August 1, 1994 1234 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br /> REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> AUGUST 1, 1994 <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM and all <br />members were present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon <br />Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that minutes of the <br /> previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda adding out-of-state travel for Leslie <br /> Johnson, Social Service employee. Motion carried· <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT PURCHASE ORDER, Office furniture <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve <br /> purchase order for office furniture for the Road <br /> Department. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify action of July 18 MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded to ratify <br /> Personnel Overview Committee action of July 18, 1994 adding <br /> "Transfer to a Lower DBM Rating" to Personnel Policy, <br /> Section 7.00. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out- <br /> of-state travel for Ruby Knoll on July 11, 1994, to Roseau, <br /> MN, to attend a trial for which subpoena was served. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out- <br /> of-state travel for Maurice Johnson on July 22, 1994, to <br /> Detroit Lakes, MN, to attend staffing for foster care child <br /> in PATH Home. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out- <br /> of-state travel for Leslie Johnson on July 29, 1994, to <br /> Fergus Falls, MN to attend quarterly staffing· On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />WINDSOR GREEN SUBDIVISION STREET IMPROVEMENT, Change order/estimate <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve <br /> change order #1 and pay estimate #1 to F-M Asphalt for the <br /> Windsor Green Subdivision Street Improvement District #93-1 <br /> <br /> <br />
