Minutes--August 1, 1994 1235 <br /> <br />according to memo of July 12, 1994, from Moore Engineering. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> Voucher No. 64,348 through Voucher No. 65,400. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS, E-911 UPDATE, Committee reports <br />County Coordinator Bonnie Johnson briefed commissioners on buildings <br />and grounds projects, including re-carpeting the first floor of the <br />Courthouse, except for Social Services; generator repairs estimated <br />at $7,000, which are covered under extended warranty purchased by the <br />county; and penalty for missing two energy days in June, which were <br />not a result of the generator failure. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland reminded commissioners of "Capitol for a Day" at the West <br />Fargo High School on August 10, 1994. <br /> <br />Mr. Ness informed the commission that it may be necessary to put a <br />question on the November election ballot to approve an increase of <br />county 911 fees for the purpose of hiring additional staff at the <br />Fargo Dispatch Center because rural respond,rs feel there is not <br />enough staff to handle their calls. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive <br /> and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as <br /> follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />Fargo-Cass County Economic Development quarterly report dated <br />July 18, 1994; <br /> <br />letter from Erica McNair expressing concern about motor vehicle <br />safety on Highway 81 south of Fargo; <br /> <br />letter from West Fargo Police Department requesting access to <br />county AS400 computer system and/or use of county software; <br /> <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation bridge inventory and <br />1996-97 Federal Aid Program (referred to County Engineer). <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> On motion by Mrs. Toussaint and seconded by Mr. Ness, the <br /> meeting was adjourned at 3:45 PM. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Michael Montplaisir - County Auditor <br />Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />Steve Risher, Chairman <br />Cass County Commission <br /> <br /> <br />
