Comm. Minutes--June 20, 1994 1222 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JUNE 20, 1994 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written· Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following changes: 1) add Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Rachael Litt; 2) add raffle permit for Roughrider Detachment #435 Marine CorDs League; and 3) move weed board appointment from consent agenda to first item on regular agenda. Motion carried. BOND ON LOST INSTRUMENTS, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bonds on LoSt Instrument for Shawn Krazewski, Greg Swanson and Rachael Litt; and authorize auditor to issue duplicate checks. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL, Approved for State's Attorney MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out-of-state travel for Constance Cleveland to attend the National College of District Attorneys Trial Advocacy on October 9-13, 1994, in San Francisco, California. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL, Data Processing; Register of Deeds MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out-of-state travel for Mike Steiner and Deanna Kensrud to attend TriMin Systems, Inc., software demonstrations on July 14-15, 1994, in Roseville, Minnesota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Roughrider Detachment MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve permit for Roughrider Detachment #435 Marine CorDs League to hold a raffle at Red River Valley Fairgrounds November 11, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
