Minutes--May 2, 1994 1201 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> MAY 2, 1994 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon <br />Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the <br /> order of agenda with the following changes: 1) substitute <br /> purchase order to buy telephone equipment from AT & T <br /> instead of Progressive Technologies, Inc. per request of <br /> Data Processing Coordinator; 2) amend transportation cost <br /> to $350 instead of $600 on County Court Judge Frank Racek's <br /> out-of-state travel request; and 3) add contract with <br /> Thorson, Inc. for asphalt surfacing. Motion carried. <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENDATION, Regional Child Support Enforcement MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to write a <br /> staff commendation letter to the Regional Child Support <br /> Enforcement Unit for their work with the Fifth Annual Child <br /> Support Conference held in Fargo recently· On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously· Kathy Ziegelmann was <br /> present to receive the letter on behalf of her staff, and <br /> she publicly thanked Brenda Krueger and Renee Lerfald, who <br /> were also present. <br /> <br />AREL ACRES SUBDIVISION, Final plat approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to grant final <br /> plat approval to Arel Acres Subdivision, NE~ of Section 7, <br /> Township 138N, Range 49W in Cass County, North Dakota. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PURCHASE ORDER, Authorized for telephone equipment MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> chairman to sign purchase order for telephone equipment <br /> from AT&T to be used in conjunction with the U.S. West <br /> Communications contract approved by the County Commission <br /> on April 18, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
