SITE AUTHORIZATION PERMIT, Veterans Club, Inc. at 4 locations MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to grant site authorization permits for Veterans Club, Inc. to conduct games of chance under license issued by North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period of July 1, 1994 through June 30, 1995 at the following locations: Club 94, Casselton; Shamrock Bar, Casselton; Wild Rice Bar & Grill, Wild Rice; and Bronco Bar, Chaffee. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMIT FOR HARWOOD LEGION, Alcoholic beverages at Bonanzaville MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve special alcoholic permit for Harwood American Legion on June 2, 3 and 4, 1994, at Bonanzaville, West Fargo. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL, Approved for County Court MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out-of-state travel for County Court Judge Frank Racek to attend the five-state judicial conference July 19-22, 1994, at Sun Valley, Idaho, with the transportation costs being amended from $600 to $350. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.00, Advisory Boards MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to amend Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, and appoint M. Herbert Smith to a vacancy on the City of Reile's Acres Planning and Zoning Commission from the extra-territorial area for a 5-year term to expire July 1, 1999. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 1.30, Portfolios MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to amend Personnel Policy Manual Section 1.30 (portfolios) to include Weed Control and Vector Control under Planning/ Operations (Toussaint). On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. CONTRACT APPROVAL, North Dakota Department of Transportation; Blue Cross/Blue Shield; Lake Agassiz Regional Council; Thorson, Inc. MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve the following contracts and authorize the Chairman to sign: North Dakota Department of Transportation for County Road 31 bridge near Gardner and for school crossing improvements in Kindred; Blue Cross/ Blue Shield of North Dakota to adopt Option #1, Section 5.5, of the Benefits Plan; Lake Agassiz Regional Council for flood grant; and Thorson, Inc. for asphalt surfacing of six miles of County Road 11 near Mapleton. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
