Minutes--August 16, 1993 1078 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AUGUST 16, 1993 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 <br />PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, <br />Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Sharon Toussaint. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded that minutes of the <br /> previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the order <br /> of the agenda with the following changes: move weed mowing <br /> publication and parking lot assignments from consent agenda <br /> to regular agenda; add resolution of condolence and housing <br /> authority application to consent agenda. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that out-of-state <br /> travel be approved for Beth Desotel and Paul White on <br /> August 9, 1993, to Duluth, Minnesota. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that out-of-state <br />travel be approved for Pam Sand on August 17, 1993, to <br />Fergus Falls, Minnesota. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously· <br /> <br />DATA PROCESSING, Out of state travel approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that out-of-state <br /> travel be approved for Mike Steiner on October 30-November <br /> 4, 1993, to San Antonio, Texas, to attend the 1993 National <br /> Conference of Global and National DEFINITY Users Groups. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />UTILITY PERMIT, Approved for Cass County Electric Cooperative <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve <br /> utility permit for Cass County Electric Cooperative to <br /> attach 5" rigid conduit to bridge on County Road 17; and <br /> authorize chairman to sign permit. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
