Comm. Minutes--April 19, 1993 1016 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS APRIL 19, 1993 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Sharon Toussaint. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION~ passed Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION~ passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the order of the agenda, with an additional out-of-state travel request for Leslie Johnson, Social Services, to be included under item b on the consent agenda. Motion carried. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Embden Community Club MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve raffle permit for Embden Community Club to be held June 24, 1993, at Embden. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SPECIAL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE PERMIT, Richard Schroeder MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve a special alcoholic beverage permit for a beer garden for Richard and Lavonne Schroeder d/b/a Bronco Bar, Chaffee Cafe for Saturday, July 3rd and Sunday, July 4th, 1993 in Chaffee. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. STATES ATTORNEY, ROAD DEPARTMENT, SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel MOTION~ passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out- of-state travel for Stephen Dawson to attend the career prosecutor course in Houston, Texas, on June 13-25, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out- of-state travel for County Engineer Keith Berndt to attend a software package meeting in Minneapolis April 28, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve out- of-state travel for Bobbi Geiger and Sheila Schmaltz of Social Services to attend the National Foster Care Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 27-May 2, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
