Minutes--August 17, 1992 900 <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> AUGUST 17, 1992 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order with four members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Sharon "Pepper" <br />Toussaint and Alon Wieland. Gene Shannon was absent. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> order of agenda with the following additions: out-of-state <br /> travel for two Social Services employees to the consent <br /> agenda~ letter of support to City of Casselton on proposed <br /> sewer and water extension, and approving documents relating <br /> to redemption of MIDA Bonds for Adams Investment Company on <br /> the regular agenda. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL TRAINING VIDEO PARTICIPANTS, Staff commendation <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send a <br /> letter of commendation to be posted in each county office <br /> for employees who participated in the personnel training <br /> video. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT, Software selection committee MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to establish <br /> the software negotiating team to be: John Golf from <br /> State's Attorney's office, Frank Racek from County Court, <br /> Mike Steiner from Data Processing, Bonnie Johnson-County <br /> Coordinator, Gene Shannon from County Commission and a <br /> representative from Sheriff's Office· On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY, Letter of support for additional vouchers <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send a <br /> letter of support to the Housing Authority of Cass County <br /> to be submitted with their application to the federal <br /> government for 25 additional housing vouchers. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
