Minutes--July 20, 1992 882 <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />JULY 20, 1992 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon, <br />Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded that the minutes <br /> of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda with the following changes: moving <br /> item f (Fargo-Cass County Economic Development Corporation <br /> tax exempt status) from the consent agenda to the regular <br /> agenda; and adding the following to the consent agenda: <br /> out-of-state travel requests from Social Services and <br /> Regional Child Support, and a special Sunday event permit <br /> for the Red River Valley Fair Association. Motion carried· <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENDATION, Annette Ingulsrud MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to send a letter <br /> of commendation to Annette Ingulsrud, Auditor's Office, for <br /> her work with senior citizen programs over the past year; <br /> a copy of the letter to be placed in her personnel file <br /> after being posted on the main floor bulletin board. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Date extended for Marine Corps LeaKue <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to amend raffle <br /> permit #190 issued July 6, 1992, to Roughrider Chapter, <br /> Marine Corps League, changing the date of the event from <br /> July 20, 1992, to November 7, 1992, said change being at <br /> the request of the applicant; and forward amended permit to <br /> the Attorney General's Office. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />STATE'S ATTORNEY OFFICE, Out-of-state travel approval MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve out- <br /> of-state travel for Elisabeth Schiltz to attend the United <br /> Council on Welfare Fraud National Conference to be held in <br /> Nashville, Tennessee, on September 13-17, 1992. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
