Minutes--July 20, 1992 883 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve out- <br />of-state travel for Constance Cleveland to attend National <br />College of District Attorney's Seminar in San Francisco on <br />November 1-5, 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve out- <br />of-state travel for David Hagler to attend National College <br />of District Attorney's Seminar in Incline Village, Nevada, <br />on October 25-28, 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve out- <br />of-state travel for Mark Boening to attend Reid Technique <br />of Interviewing and Interrogation Seminar in Minneapolis on <br />October 5-7, 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />POLICY CLARIFIED, Commission Policy Manual MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to clarify board <br /> sunset policy on page 1 of Section 4.00, Cass County <br /> Commission Policy Manual, as follows: <br /> "NOTE: COMMISSION SERVICE ON A BOARD/COMMITTEE TERMINATES <br /> WHEN A COMMISSIONER NO LONGER SERVES IN OFFICE." <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD AND STREET REPAIR, Annual disbursements to Briarwood, North River <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve annual <br /> disbursement of road and street repair funds to the City of <br /> Briarwood in the amount of $628.00 and to the City of North <br /> River in the amount of $211.00. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously· <br /> <br />UTILITY PERMIT, Kindred City MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to grant a <br /> utility permit for the City of Kindred to install a 4" <br /> water line along County Road 16; said permit meets County <br /> Road Department requirements. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Auditor to issue duplicate check <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to receive and <br /> file Indemnity Bond for Lost Instrument for Lewis Lubka; <br /> and authorize County Auditor to issue duplicate check. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SPECIAL SUNDAY EVENT, Red River Valley Fairgrounds <br />Mr. Wieland was contacted on July llth by the Red River Valley Fair <br />Association about authorizing a special permit to sell beer Sunday, <br />July 12th, at the fairgrounds during the races, which were postponed <br />from July llth due to rain. <br /> <br /> <br />
