Minutes--May 18, 1992 856 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> MAY 18, 1992 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> the order of the agenda, adding a raffle permit for Chaffee <br /> Centennial Club and sale of tax-forfeited lot to the City <br /> of Alice to the consent agenda and removing item #5 and <br /> item #7 from the regular agenda. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ELECTION INSPECTORS, Appointed for June 9th primary MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to appoint <br /> inspectors for the June 9, 1992, primary election according <br /> to list furnished by County Auditor. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD AND STREET REPAIR FUNDS, Annual disbursement to Page, Tower City <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve annual <br /> disbursement of city pothole and street repair funds to the <br /> City of Page in the amount of $433.00 and to Tower City in <br /> the amount of $443.00. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD RIGHT OF WAY CERTIFICATE, CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT, <br />Structure and approaches near Horace MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize the <br /> Chairman to sign right of way certificate and construction <br /> and maintenance agreement with North Dakota Department of <br /> Transportation for structure and approaches near Horace on <br /> the Sheyenne River. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD ACTIONS RATIFIED, Child welfare programs, <br />classification reviews <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to accept the <br /> recommendation(s) for child welfare programs as submitted <br /> by Social Services. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
