On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION, Appointment of Curt Ness to advisory membership <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to appoint Mr. <br /> Curt Ness to fulfill the remaining term of Harvey Pyle on <br /> the advisory membership to the Cass County Planning <br /> Commission for a term to expire January 1, 1993. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Social Service employees Ruby LaBounty to <br /> attend "Early Childhood Profession Coming Together" June 3- <br /> 6, 1992, in Los Angeles; and for Pam Sand to attend a <br /> staffing for child in foster care May 11, 1992, in Fergus <br /> Falls, MN. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Erie American Legion MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve site <br /> authorization permit for Dokken & Schroeder Post #223, Erie <br /> American Legion, to conduct games of chance under license <br /> granted by the North Dakota Attorney General at the <br /> location known as Erie American Legion for the period <br /> beginning July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CONTRACTS, Sheriff traffic safety, Game and Fish Department, IBM <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize the <br /> Chairman to sign the Traffic Safety Contract with North <br /> Dakota Department of Transportation for speed enforcement; <br /> and the grant for $10,000 with a 50% match from the North <br /> Dakota Game and Fish Department for the purchase of a water <br /> craft for patrolling the Red River, Sheyenne River and <br /> Brewer Lake during the boating season. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize the <br /> Chairman to sign IBM Customer Agreement as reviewed by the <br /> State's Attorney and signed by Portfolio Commissioner Gene <br /> Shannon. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION, By-laws changed on advisory membership <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> amendment to the Planning Commission bylaws, said amendment <br /> allowing up to five advisory members instead of four.
