MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded that a request for Social Service classification reviews for Ruth Ann Anderson's and Roger Flynn's positions be submitted to the North Dakota Central Personnel Division. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PLANNING COMMISSION, Appointment of Curt Ness to advisory membership MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to appoint Mr. Curt Ness to fulfill the remaining term of Harvey Pyle on the advisory membership to the Cass County Planning Commission for a term to expire January 1, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve out of state travel for Social Service employees Ruby LaBounty to attend "Early Childhood Profession Coming Together" June 3- 6, 1992, in Los Angeles; and for Pam Sand to attend a staffing for child in foster care May 11, 1992, in Fergus Falls, MN. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, Erie American Legion MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve site authorization permit for Dokken & Schroeder Post #223, Erie American Legion, to conduct games of chance under license granted by the North Dakota Attorney General at the location known as Erie American Legion for the period beginning July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. CONTRACTS, Sheriff traffic safety, Game and Fish Department, IBM MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign the Traffic Safety Contract with North Dakota Department of Transportation for speed enforcement; and the grant for $10,000 with a 50% match from the North Dakota Game and Fish Department for the purchase of a water craft for patrolling the Red River, Sheyenne River and Brewer Lake during the boating season. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize the Chairman to sign IBM Customer Agreement as reviewed by the State's Attorney and signed by Portfolio Commissioner Gene Shannon. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PLANNING COMMISSION, By-laws changed on advisory membership MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the amendment to the Planning Commission bylaws, said amendment allowing up to five advisory members instead of four. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
