Minutes--April 20, 1992 841 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />APRIL 20, 1992 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda including an amendment to the consent agenda <br /> for emergency out of state travel for Leslie Johnson, Social <br /> Services employee; and the regular agenda to stand as printed. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />SHERIFF, DATA PROCESSING, SOCIAL SERVICES, STATE'S ATTORNEY, Out of <br />state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel on May 24-28, 1992, for Sheriff Donald Rudnick, <br /> Walt Willis, Michelle Pederson, Steve Zetocha, Buzz Argall and <br /> Kim Stewart to attend the llth annual American Jail Association <br /> training conference in Minneapolis, expenses being paid from the <br /> Sheriff and Jail travel budgets. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve out of <br />state travel for Mike Steiner, Data Processing Coordinator, to <br />attend the 3X/400 International Conference in Vail, Colorado, on <br />July 25-30, 1992, to be paid from the Data Processing budget. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve out of <br />state travel for Sheila Schmaltz, Social Services employee, to <br />attend the 22nd annual National Foster Care conference on May <br />20-23, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia; and for Social Services <br />employee Leslie Johnson to transport a child in foster care to <br />an appointment in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, on April 15, 1992. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve out of <br />state travel for Elisabeth Schiltz, Cass County State's <br />Attorney's Welfare Fraud Investigator, to attend the Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br />
