Comm. Minutes--April 20, 1992 842 <br /> <br />Fraud Investigator's Conference in Deerwood, Minnesota, May 3-6, <br />1992, at a total estimated cost of $299.84 to be paid from the <br />State's Attorney budget; this amount excludes mileage because <br />Ms. Schiltz may be able to travel with others who are attending. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COURTHOUSE NEIGHBORHOOD PARKING STUDY, Scope of work approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to receive the <br /> recommendations of the Cass County Planning Commission and the <br /> Future Space Planning Committee, and approve the scope of work <br /> for the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments to <br /> complete the Courthouse Neighborhood Parking Study. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD AGREEMENTS, County Road 10 surfacing, Mapleton to West Fargo <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize the <br /> Chairman to sign construction and maintenance agreement and <br /> right of way certificate with the North Dakota Department of <br /> Transportation for bituminous surfacing on County Road 10 from <br /> Mapleton to West Fargo. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF DEPARTMENT VEHICLES, Re-assignment to State's Attorney Office <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to exchange Cass <br /> County State's Attorney's investigator vehicle with the 1986 <br /> Chevrolet Caprice 4-door automobile with VIN 1G1BL6961GX171411 <br /> being retired by the Cass County Sheriff;s Office for use in <br /> criminal investigations, and that the existing Cass County <br /> State's Attorney's Office investigator vehicle, a Chevrolet <br /> Cavalier, be made available for disposition with the remaining <br /> Cass County Sheriff's Office retired vehicles. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to re-assign the 1987 <br /> Chevrolet Astro Van with VIN 1GNDM15Z6HB160443 to the Cass <br /> County State's Attorney's Office for use by Cass County Welfare <br /> Fraud Investigator and Cass County Social Services. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD AND STREET REPAIR FUNDS, Approved for Frontier, Casselton <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve annual <br /> disbursement of city pothole and street repair funds to cities <br /> of Frontier in the amount of $652.00 and to Casselton in the <br /> amount of $3,544.00. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />U.S. WEST COMMUNICATIONS, Utility permit approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve a utility <br /> permit for U.S. West Communications, Inc. to make three splice <br /> pits and encroachments along Cass County Road 17 and 20 as shown <br /> on permit and sketch, available at the County Road Department. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
