Comm. Minutes--March 16, 1992 832 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MARCH 16, 1992 MEETING TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by the Vice Chair, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. Four members were present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon and Sharon Toussaint. Alon Wieland was absent. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the order of the agenda as amended, adding a contract for the Sheriff's Department, emergency out of state travel for a Social Services employee, and a revised motion on the Ernst & Young classification study. Motion carried. COMMISSION, COUNTY COORDINATOR, SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve out of state travel for Commissioners and the County Coordinator to attend the National Association of Counties 57th Annual Conference July 8-11, 1992, in Minneapolis. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve out of state travel for Jerry Skjonsby, Social Services employee, to attend a seminar in Denver on March 9-13, 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve out of state travel to Detroit Lakes, MN for Leslie Johnson, Social Services employee, on March 13 and 16, 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, Bonanza Belles; NDSU Mechanical Engineering MOTION, passed Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve raffle permits for Bonanza Belles to be held August 15 and 16, 1992, at Bonanzaville; and for NDSU Mechanical Engineering/ student section to be held May 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, 1992, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ERNST & YOUNG, Classification and Compensation Study dated March, 1992 MOTION, passed Motion was made by Mr. Shannon and seconded by Mr. Risher as follows: - to receive and file the Ernst & Young full report; - to adopt the proposed classification titles/DBM ratings;
