Minutes--March 2, 1992 829 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MARCH 2, 1992 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order with four members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Gene Shannon, Sharon "Pepper" <br />Toussaint and Alon Wieland. Steve Risher was absent, being in <br />attendance at a National Association of Counties Legislative <br />Conference in Washington, D.C. Mr. Shannon also planned to attend <br />that conference but was ill last week. <br /> <br />m <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SHERIFF, SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint mowed and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Lt. Arland Rasmussen to attend <br /> quarterly meetings of the Mid-States Organized Crime <br /> Information Center during the calendar year of 1992. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Michele Boucher and Gregory Holm to <br /> attend Correctional Field Officer Training in St. Paul, MN <br /> on March 18-20, 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Lila Rath, R.N. at the jail, to <br /> attend a training conference April 9-12, 1992, in Salt Lake <br /> City, Utah. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Social Service employees, Bobbi Jo <br /> Geiger and Sheila Schmaltz to St. Cloud, MN, on May 19, <br /> 1992. On roll call vote~ motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS, Approval of 1992 plan MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> the 1992 Superintendent of Schools plan as submitted by <br /> Bruce Hoers, Cass County Superintendent of Schools. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
