Comm. Minutes--March 2, 1992 830 <br /> <br />ROAD AND STREET REPAIR FUNDS, Approved for City of Leonard <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> payment of city pothole and street repair funds to the City <br /> of Leonard in the amount of $398.00. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD PROJECT, Paving east of Harwood <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to accept the <br /> low bid of Hardrives, Inc. for bituminous surfacing east of <br /> Harwood in the amount of $532,105.83, as opened at the <br /> State Highway Department bid opening held February 21, <br /> 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION STUDY, Contract for implementation <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> the Ernst & Young contraot for implementation of the <br /> employee classification study. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD ENGINEER, Service award presented to family of the late Donald <br />W. Richards <br />Chairman Wieland presented a service award to the family of the late <br />Cass County Engineer, Donald W. Richards. Receiving the plaque were <br />Mrs. Richards and son, Jay. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />WATER USER'S ASSOCIATION, Water and wetland-related issues <br />Mike Dwyer and Vern Fahy appeared before the board representing the <br />North Dakota Water Users Association to make a presentation on water <br />and wetland-related issues. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />VOUCHERS, Reviewed and approved with two exceptions <br />Mrs. Toussaint reviewed vouchers this month and questioned #34565, <br />membership dues to a Minnesota association, and No. 34,800 for a used <br />car guide from National Automobile Dealer's Association. MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> Vouchers No. 34,126 through No. 34,999 with the exceptions <br /> of No. 34565 and No. 34,800 until further review by <br /> Mrs. Toussaint. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive <br /> and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as <br /> follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />notice of East Central Commissioners Association meeting at the <br />Valley City Elks Club March 12th beginning at 10:00 AM; <br /> <br />CDBG acceptance of final audit of Embden sanitary sewer project, <br />and also, nomination forms for Community Development Awards; <br /> <br /> <br />
