Minutes--March 2, 1992 831 letter from Rural Cass County Council regarding 1992 mill levy funds (copy referred to County Auditor); information from North Dakota Water Users Association on wetland issues workshop--one is being held in Fargo March 24th at the Doublewood Inn; notice of hearing on March llth at 9:00 AM by Fargo Planning Commission on request for a special use permit for a bed and breakfast to be located at 1100 - 3rd Avenue South; receipt by County Auditor of a surplus note credit from the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund in the amount of $5,298; letter from LCM, Ltd., on Federal and state agency land management and county land use planning; information from County Planner about federal transportation law and its impact on the Metropolitan Council of Governments; letter from State Treasurer on certification of township road miles for township road fund distribution (copy to Auditor); copy of Amendment No. 1 to the reimbursement agreement for Riverview Place, Inc. revenue bonds (copy to State's Attorney); letter from Mary Hall, Juvenile Supervisor, praising the janitorial work being done at the Juvenile Justice Center by Professional Building Services. PUBLIC COMMENT Jeannette Stanton, Fargo, came to the Courthouse to obtain a copy of the County's personnel policy manual because she was concerned about political activity and wondered how the Commission plans to handle policy on this. She said she thinks Bonnie Johnson acted improperly when she invited department heads to attend a press conference called by Commissioner Pepper Toussaint to announce she is seeking re- election to the Board of County Commissioners from District #1. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mr. Shannon and seconded by Mrs. Toussaint, the motion carried and the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned about 4:15 PM.
