Minutes--August 5, 1991 712 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AUGUST 5, 1991 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with the following <br />members present: Steve Risher, Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint <br />and Gene Shannon. Commissioner Alon Wieland was absent. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br />minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve the <br />order of the agenda after moving item #1g, pre- <br />authorization hiring forms, from the consent agenda to the <br />regular agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, Chaffee Centennial. Nora Church Women <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br />raffle permits for Chaffee Centennial to be held August 24, <br />1991, at Chaffee High School; and for Nora Women of the <br />Evangelical Lutheran Church to be held October 5, 1991, at <br />Nora Lutheran Church, Gardner. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT, Holiday Inn <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve a <br />special event permit for the Holiday Inn to sell alcoholic <br />beverages on August 6, 7, and 8, 1991, at the Case <br />International Tour at Bonanzaville, in compliance with <br />state law. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. SHERIFF, COUNTY COORDINATOR, SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out <br />of state travel for Michele Boucher and Kelly Idso to <br />attend the 121st Congress of Corrections in Minneapolis on <br />August 4-8, 1991. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out <br />of state travel for County Coordinator Bonnie Johnson to <br />attend a Harvard University business seminar in Chicago on <br />September 18-20, 1991. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
