Minutes--July 1, 1991 698 <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JULY 1, 1991 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Alon Wieland, <br />Steve Risher, Don Eckert and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes <br />of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br />order of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Larson Brake Service <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive <br />and file Indemnity Bond for Lost Instrument for Larson <br />Brake Service for warrant #24454 and authorize the auditor <br />to issue a duplicate check. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. CASS COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY, Application for ei~ht housin~ vouchers <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize <br />the Chairman to send a letter to the Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development supporting an application of the <br />Housing Authority of Cass County for eight additional units <br />of Housing Vouchers. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />6. SPRINGVALE CEMETERY, To donate three ~rave spaces <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to donate <br />three (3) grave spaces at Springvale Cemetery to the <br />"Commi ttee on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness," with <br />spaces being subdivided as recommended by the sexton of the <br />cemetery, Fargo/Moorhead funeral directors, Dakota Monument <br />and said committee. These spaces are then to be used for <br />the proper disposal of human fetal tissue. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. PLEDGE OF ASSETS, Re-approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to re-approve <br />the following list of Pledge of Assets for July, 1991, as <br />prepared by the County Treasurer: On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />
