Comm, Minutes--April 1, 1991 646 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COHMISSIONERS <br /> <br />APRIL 1, 1991 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting of March 18, 1991, be <br /> approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />m <br /> <br />EMPLOYEES' LEGISLATIVE EFFORTS, Staff commendation for those involved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to send a letter <br /> of commendation as read by Vice Chairman Alon Wieland to <br /> the following for their legislative efforts: Bonnie <br /> Johnson, Earl Haugen, Kathy Hogan, Michael Montplaisir, <br /> Nike Steiner, Frank Klein, Frank Racek, Deanna Kensrud and <br /> Glenn Ellingsberg. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, Staff commendation to Ginger Kaufman, <br />Renata Gehrke and Kathy Sundquist MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to send a letter <br /> of commendation as read by Commissioner Steve Risher to <br /> Human Resources Department employees Ginger Kaufman, Renata <br /> Gehrke and Kathy Sundquist. On roll call vote, the motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve Social <br /> Services out of state travel request for Kathy Suedel on <br /> April 3, 1991 to Brainerd, Minnesota. On roll call vote, <br /> the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />HEALTH INSURANCE FUND AUDIT, Proposal for contracts MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to accept proposal <br /> from Alexander & Alexander to provide audit services in <br /> connection with our administrative contract with Blue Cross <br /> Blue Shield of North Dakota and to share in the $10,000 <br /> cost of audit with the City of Fargo and Fargo Public <br /> School District on an equal basis. County share of the <br /> audit is to come from the Self-Insurance Fund. On roll <br /> call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD AND STREET REPAIRS, Annual disbursement to Casselton approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> 1991 disbursement of road and street repair funds to the <br /> city of Casselton in the amount of $3,431.00. On roll call <br /> vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
