Motion failed for lack of a second.
Auditor Michael Hontplaisir said funds were not appropriated from the
emergency fund for 1991. If the Commission decides to adopt this
program, the 1991 budget would need to be amended to include
approximately $12,000 for grasshopper control expenses.

Mr. Wieland said a township officers meeting is going to be held
tomorrow evening in Casselton. He would like the grasshopper control
issue to be addressed and information discussed at the meeting to be
scheduled on the agenda for the next Commission meeting on
April 15th. He did not have a problem with last year's policy, but
he wants to hear the township officers' ideas.

The Commissioners and Wayne Colberg, Weed Officer, were in agreement
to postpone any decision until the next Commission meeting.
