Minutes--July 17, 1990 487 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> JULY 17, 1990 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with four members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Oscar <br />Sondral'l and Gene Shannon. Commissioner Alon Wieland was absent. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED NOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Hrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried· <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDED <br />There was no objection to amending the consent agenda to include a <br />temporary position approved by Social Services Board, and to include <br />appointments to Horace and Fargo Planning Commissions because some of <br />their meetings are ongoing before the Commission meets again· <br /> <br />DATA PROCESSING, Out of state travel approved <br /> HOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Brenda Scheeringa to Minneapolis, <br /> HN on August 20-21 (prior approval given in 1990 budget). <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously, <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SPECIAL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE, Flyinq J/Windbreak <br /> HOTZON, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Hrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> a permit for special alcoholic beverage license for the <br /> Flying J/Windbreak Saloon on August 26. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />ROAD AND STREET REPAIR FUNDS, Annual payment to Kindred <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Hr. Sondrall moved and Hrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> annual disbursement of road and street repair funds to the <br /> City of Kindred in the amount of $1,098.00· On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMISSION SECRETARY JOYCE SCHEPP, Staff commendation MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send a <br /> staff commendation letter as read by the Chairman to <br /> Commission Secretary Joyce Schepp. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REAPPOINTHENTS, Social Services Board HOTZON, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to reappoint <br /> Alon Wieland and Gene Shannon to the Social Services Board. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br /> <br />
