Minutes--June 19, 1990 475 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />JUNE 19, 1990 <br /> <br />HEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Oscar Sondrall, Alon Wieland, Don Eckert, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint, and Gene Shannon· Mr. Wieland asked to be excused <br />after the first item on the regular agenda in order to attend a <br />meeting in Bismarck. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondra11 moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written· <br /> Motion carried· <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Community Survival Program to become self-sustaining <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to accept the <br /> recommendation of the Social Services Board at the June 19 <br /> meeting to request the States Attorney to prepare a <br /> contract to include that Community Survival Program will <br /> become self-sustaining as of August 31, 1990. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approved <br /> out of state travel for Social Services employees Kathy <br /> Suedel to Brainerd, MN June 21, and for Norean Hoots to <br /> Duluth, MN June 7 and 8 (prior approval given in 1990 <br /> budget). On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> ! <br />PERMITS FOR RAFFLES, Wheatland Little League, Wheatland Rod & Gun <br />Club, Nora Lutheran Church MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve <br /> raffle permits for the following: Wheatland Little League <br /> on July 28, Wheatland Rod and Gun Club on August 16, and <br /> Nora Lutheran Church on October 6. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR SPECIAL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE, Leonard Golf Club <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve a <br /> permit for special alcoholic beverage license for the <br /> Leonard Golf Club at Leonard June 24 and August 26, 1990. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ELECTION INSPECTOR, Appointment of Howes-Gill Inspector <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Upon the request of the County Auditor, Mrs. Toussaint <br /> moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve the appointment of <br /> Robert VonBank as Inspector for Howes/Gill Township <br /> precinct instead of Richard Smith. On roll call vote, the <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
