Minutes--March 6, 1990 434 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MARCH 6, 1990 <br /> <br />HEELING 1'O ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shanrlon called the meeting to order with four members <br />p~'esent as follows: Oscar Sondrall, Alon Wieland, Sharon "Pepper" <br />l'oussaint, and Gene Shannon. Commissioner Don Eckert was absent. <br /> <br />ttINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Hrs. Toussaint moved and Hr. Sondrall seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />INSURANCE CONTRACT FOR HEALTH COVERAGE, Blue Cross-Blue Shield <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> the Chairman to sign the 1990 employees' health insurance <br /> contract with Blue Cross-Blue Shield. On roll call vote, <br /> the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, Cities of West Fargo and Horace <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to allow the <br /> City of West Fargo to purchase 40 parcels located in Meadow <br /> Ridge 2nd and 6th, Sheyenne Park, Kost 1st and Pinewood 1st <br /> additions for $1.O0 per parcel and cancel the general taxes <br /> of $10,758.69; and to allow the City of Horace to purchase <br /> two parcels located in Sheyenne Country Estate Addition for <br /> $1.00 per parcel and cancel the general taxes of $743.73. <br /> On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, Private party <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to allow <br /> William A., Collene C. and Joel A. Barnick to purchase one <br /> parcel in Roberts-Hageman's Subdivision for the sale price <br /> of $18,634.64 and to cancel 1989 general tax of $2,507.22. <br /> On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that <br /> Vouchers No. 11,319 through 12,274 be approved and ordered <br /> paid. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out of state travel MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> out of state travel for Social Services employee Jerry <br /> Skjonsby to Bloomington, MN on March 11-15, as previously <br /> approved by the Social Services Board. On roll call vote, <br /> the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
