36 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MARCH 22, 1988 <br /> <br /> Chairman Don Eokert called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Jeannette Stanton, Oscar Sondrall, Ray Lanson, <br />Alon Wieland and Don Eckert. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lanson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Hearings were held on several Applications for Abatement and <br />Settlement of Taxes, and action was taken upon the recommendation of <br />Clarence Miller, County Director of Tax Equalization. <br /> <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the <br />abatement for Raymond and Ava Schmidt as submitted and that the <br />valuation be reduced from $55,660 to $52,000 for 1986 and 1987. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Lanson seconded to approve the <br />abatement for James P. Sabo as submitted and that the valuation be <br />reduced from $95,408 to $42,200 for the years 1986 and 1987. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lanson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the <br />abatement for Dorothy M. Haskins as submitted and that the valuation <br />be reduced from $16,996 to $2,576 for the year 1987. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the <br />abatement for Steven G. Lepine as submitted and that the valuation be <br />reduced from $41,266 to $51,400 for 1986 and 1987. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Lanson seconded to approve the <br />abatement for Wayne and Patricia Matthys and that the valuation be <br />reduced from $'75,092 to $1,559 on the land only for the year 1987. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Concerning compensatory <br />accumulation of County Social <br />asked Administrative Assistant <br />of the County and the State. <br /> <br />time, sick leave and vacation <br />Services employees, the Commission <br /> Diana Murack to compare policies <br /> <br /> Upon the request of Bonnie Johnson, Regional Child Support <br />Enforcement Director, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Lanson seconded to <br />approve salary adjustments for Brenda Krueger from $1,058 to $1,14.5 <br />per month and for Deborah McAllister from $956 to $1,000 per month, <br />to be paid from the part-time salaries line item in the Regional <br />Child Support Enforcement budget. On roll call. vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
