Commission Minutes--September 16, 2002 2508 r-. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SEPTEMBER 16, 2002 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: John Meyer, Donna Schneider, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and Alan Wieland. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chairman Wieland led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the last regular meeting held September 3, 2002, be approved as written. Motion carried. MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the budget meeting held September 11, 2002, be approved as written. Motion carried. ,-- 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions: 1) contract with Bergstrom Electric; 2) special event permit for The Bowler; and 3) discuss resolutions relating to marriage license fees and marriage license waiting period. Motion carried. 5. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Approved for Playmakers Sports Cafe & Bar MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve a special event permit for Playmakers Sports Cafe & Bar for a wedding reception at Bonanzayllle on September 21, 2002, from 5:00 PM to 1 :00 AM. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. OMITTED ASSESSMENT, Approved for Randy & Lori Zimprich MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to add a 7.51 acre tract in Government Lot 4 of 3-142-50, Gardner Township, as omitted property for 2002 in the amount of $53,400, according to notice sent from the county auditor to Randy & Lori Zimprich of Gardner, North Dakota. EMPLOYEE ANNUAL LEAVE, Approval to extend annual leave balance MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the personnel office to extend the annual leave balance over 240 hours for Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator, beyond the January 15th deadline. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
