<br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Chairman and the Auditor
<br />be authorized to sign the resolution awarding the bid for the bridge project on
<br />County Road 6 between County Road 17 and Interstate 29 to the low bidder, Swingen Construc-
<br />tion Company, in the amount of $101,077.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried
<br />unanimously.
<br />
<br />A letter was received from Ron Soderberg of the North Dakota Association of Counties
<br />regarding a meeting to be held at the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District headquarters
<br />in Carrington on Friday, June 11th, at 1:30 P.M. regarding land mitigation efforts to date.
<br />
<br />Notice was received from the Public Service Commission of a hearing to be held
<br />on July 15th at 9:00 A.M. in the State Capitol, Bismarck, concerning surface coal mining
<br />'and reclamation operations in North Dakota.
<br />
<br />Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Vouchers No. 24,533 through
<br />No. 25,272 be approved and ordered paid. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />No meeting will be held June 8th because of the Primary Election.
<br />
<br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned.

<br />Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present.
<br />
<br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous
<br />,meeting be approved as written. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Upon the recommendation of the County Road Superintendent, Mr. Hendrickson moved
<br />and Mr. Larson seconded to grant the following utility permits: On roll call vote,
<br />the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Cass County Electric to install cable along County Road 17 in Section 30,
<br />Reed Township, and on the bridge over the Sheyenne River.
<br />Fargo Electric Construction for F~deral Aviation Administration
<br />to extend lighting system on County Road 20 and extend an approach.
<br />Northwestern Bell Telephone Company to bury cable on County Road 6
<br />in Sections 7-8 and Sections 17-18, Maple River Township; along
<br />County Road 81 in Section 3, Kinyon Township; along County Road 9
<br />in Sections 16-17, Addison Township; along County Road 16 in
<br />Sections 35-36, Maple River Township; and along County Road 16
<br />in Sections 1-2, Leonard Township.

<br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the bridge replacement
<br />between Sections 9-10, Pleasant Township, as approved by the County Road Superintendent
<br />and the Southeast Cass Water Management Board at an appooximate cost of $15,000.00,
<br />the County's share being 40% of this. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mr. John Meyer, Veterans Service Officer, reported on estimates he obtained from the
<br />Fargo Glass and Paint Company for replacing three entrance doors at the Cass County Annex.
<br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to authorize the installation of two new doors
<br />at a cost of $1,269.00 each and one door for handicapped persons at a cost of $2,450.00
<br />plus the cost of insulating glass instead of tempered plate glass and plus the cost of
<br />electrical wiring for the handicapped entrance. On roll call vote, the motion carried
<br />unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the following Officer's Reports
<br />for May be received and filed: Motion carried.

<br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Larson seconded to grant a Site Authorization Permit
<br />to the Fargo YMCA Men's Club for the purpose of holding games of chance at the Red River
<br />Valley Fairgrounds during the 1982 Fair on the date of July 8th through 14th.
<br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Larson seconded that Vouchers No. 25,273 through
<br />No. 25,754 and Revenue Sharing Vouchers No. 311 through 313 be approved and ordered paid.
