On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded <br />,to complete the unexpired term of Milton Holmen <br />and also to a new five year term to expire July <br />!carried unanimously. <br /> <br />to appoint Mr. John Heuer of Leonard <br />on the Cass County Housing Authority <br />1, 1987. Mr. Hendrickson stated that the County Commission approved <br />an expenditure of $1,200.00 on the date of April 8, 1981. Mr. Larson suggested the <br />installation of this type of furnace, and he stated that a unit could have been purchased <br />for $1,000.00 but the unit that was installed generates about twice as many Btu-'s. <br />,He suggested discussing the matter again with the County Road Superintendent next week, <br />'and the matter was placed on the agenda. <br /> <br />Mrs. Wold asked that a policy be written into the new Proposed Policy Schedule <br />stating that no County Commissioner-shall make a decision involving the Board without <br />bringing it to the attention of the entire Board of Cass County Commissioners. <br /> <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve the application for a permit <br />to hold a raffle by the Hickson Women's Softball Association on the date of April 28, 1982, <br />at the Knickerbocker Liquor Locker in Hickson. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. . <br /> <br />The Auditor read a letter of application for a special permit for the Fargo Elks Club <br />to sell and serve alcoholic beverages on the date of June 12, 1982, at the Andrews Farm <br />in Raymond Township. The States Attorney reported that the State statute allows an <br />alcoholic beverage licensee to apply to the County Commission to hold a public event <br />and transfer their license to a location in the County outside any city limits, <br />and he suggested that the application be referred to the Sheriff's Office because they <br />will need to make arrangements for police patrol. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the County Commission advertise <br />for bids for cleaning services in the Courthouse and the Annex, to be effective on <br />July 1, 1982. The motion carried unanimously on roll call vote with four members present, <br />Mrs. Wold having left. <br /> <br />Committee reports were given. <br /> <br />The Board postponed further discussion on the proposed Policy Schedule until a <br />full Board is present. <br /> <br />On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />APRIL 20, 1982 <br /> <br />Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members <br />,were present. <br /> <br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous <br />meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Larson seconded to approve the utility permit <br />for Cass County Electric to bury cable on County Road 6 in the SE~ of Section 10, <br />Walburg Township.
