<br />Commission Minutes--August 5, 2002 2470 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AUGUST 5, 2002 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alan Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: John Meyer, Donna Schneider, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and Alan Wieland. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Chairman Wieland asked Birch Burdick to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following additions: 1) Extension Service Parenting <br />Resource Grant fiscal agent; 2) grant agreement with the Division of <br />Juvenile Services on behalf of Youthworks; 3) resolution of Nomination <br />for Excellence in County Government Award; 4) ratify Personnel <br />Overview Committee actions of August 5th; and 5) acquisition of <br />emergency levy/greenway properties near Forest River. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. OMITTED ASSESSMENTS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br /> <br />Tintes Holding Company 2nd to the City of West Fargo, as omitted <br />property for 1998 in the amount of $13,100.00; for 1999 in the amount of <br />$13,100.00; for 2000 in the amount of $14,000.00; for 2001 in the amount <br />of $14,000.00 and for 2002 in the amount of $14,900.00, according to <br />notice sent from the county auditor to Marry Carlson and Jan Patterson of <br />West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add Lot 8 Block 6, <br />Prairie Crossing Replat to the City of Fargo, as omitted property for 2002 <br />in the amount of $16,800.00, according to notice sent from the county <br />auditor to Donald & Marjorie McCullagh of Fargo, North Dakota. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add part of NE % in 2- <br />138-49, Unplatted to the City of Fargo, as omitted property for 2002 in the <br />amount of $9,800.00, according to notice sent from the county auditor to <br />Clarice Grandbois of Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
