Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the County Road Superintendent <br />be authorized to advertise for bids for yearly Road Department supplies, the letting <br />to be held at 10:00 A.M. on February 13, 1980. The motion carried on a roll call vote <br />with all members voting "Aye". <br /> <br />Mr. Grindberg reported on the informal bids received for bridge construction <br />between Sections 30-31, Reed Township. The low bidder was Wanzek Construction, Inc. <br />in the amount of $150,722.50, which is approximately $15,000.00 below the engineer's <br />estimate. Mr. Grindberg stated that $80,377.00 will be paid from Federal Disaster <br />Funds and the County will have to pay the remainder, but he stated that he does not have <br />the money in the Road Department Budget. Mr. Sondrall moved and Mr. Satrom seconded <br />that the Board determines that this bridge was damaged by flooding and that the County's <br />share of the construction be paid from the Emergency Fund.
