Commission Minutes--March 4, 2002 2416 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MARCH 4, 2002 1. MEETING TO ORDER Vice Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. Alon Wieland was absent. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order aDDroved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order of the agenda, with one change being a revised memo from the County Highway Engineer to implement spring load restrictions on March 19th instead of March 5th, because ofthe colder weather in the past few days. Motion carried. 4. RESOLUTION #2002-1, Condolence to Tonv Grindbera MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to adopt the following Resolution #2002.1 offering condolences to the family of Mrs. Tony (Vanessa) Grindberg: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION #2002-1 WHEREAS, the Board of Cass County Commissioners has learned of the untimely death of Vanessa Grindberg of Fargo, North Dakota, on February 25, 2002; and WHEREAS, Vanessa Grindberg is the wife of Tony Grindberg, who has represented Cass County in the State Legislature for many years and through his work at the Fargo Cass County Economic Development Corporation. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of Commissioners of Cass County, North Dakota, does hereby express its heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Tony's wife, Vanessa Grindberg. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be inscribed upon the permanent records of the proceedings of the Cass County Board of Commissioners and a copy forwarded to the family.
