Commission Minutes--June 18, 2001 2296 - DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JUNE 18, 2001 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Alon Wieland, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order aDDroved MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. 4. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL AMENDED, ADDointmentto County Plannina Commission MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to appoint Keith D. Monson to fill a vacancy on the Cass County Planning Commission, for a term ending December 31,2004. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. ,.--. 5. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, ADDroved for the Shamrock Bar MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve a special event permit for the Shamrock Bar to dispense alcoholic beverages at the Lonnie Scharbow farm, 14431 49th Street SE, Enderlin, North Dakota, on the date of July 21, 2001, for a wedding dance. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. JOINT DISPATCH ADVISORY BOARD, ADDointment of Sheriff Rudnick MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to appoint Sheriff Don Rudnick to the advisory board of the metropolitan joint dispatch center. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Foss Associates. Ltd.: State of North Dakota MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the following contracts submitted by respective department head, subject to state's attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. ,,--
