Commission Minutes--May 7,2001 2276 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ -- REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MAY 7,2001 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Alon Wieland, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 3. AGENDA, Order aDDroved MOT/ON, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following items being added to the consent agenda: 1) contract with Dennis Neumiller for operation of the Courthouse County Seat Cafe; 2) resolution of condolence to the family of former Cass County Auditor, Ordelle Brua; and 3) National Night Out Proclamation. Motion carried. r-- 4. BUDGET ADJUSTMENT, Valley Water Rescue MOT/ON, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to establish the Valley Water Rescue Fund and budget revenues and expenditures as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Revenues: 237-3505-333.55-01 Other Government Grants $40,000 Expenditures: 237-3505-426.20-15 237-3505-426.52-02 237-3505-426.57-01 237-3505-426.61-04 237-3505-426.74-01 Workers' Compensation Liability Insurance Education/SeminarslTraining Operational Supplies Field Equipment 165 25 7,500 21,825 10,485 5. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Marliss Hellerud MOT/ON, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Marliss Hellerud, and authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a duplicate check.
