On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Purchase of new control base for county paaina system <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the <br />Sheriff's Department to purchase a control base in the amount of <br />$8,410 for the county paging system, to be paid from 911 revenues. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. BUDGET SCHEDULE FOR 2002, Approved <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the 2002 <br />budget schedule, as outlined by the County Auditor in his letter dated <br />April 23, 2001. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Sprina load restrictions discontinued. with a few exceptions <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to discontinue <br />spring load restrictions for county highways on May 22, 2001, except <br />for the following Cass County highways: Cass 5 from Erie to county <br />line (Class 1), Cass 10 from Casselton to Cass 11 (Class 1), Cass 6 <br />from C17 to 1-29 (Modified Class 1); and Cass 6 from C6 to State 18 <br />(Class 1). On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. EXTENSION SERVICES, Family Nutrition Proaram continuation <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the Cass <br />County Commission support the Family Nutrition Program county <br />proposal for continuation of the program from October 1, 2001 <br />through September 30, 2002, pending proposal acceptance by state <br />and federal partners. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. CONTRACT APPROVAL, SRF Consultina Group: North Dakota Department of <br />Transportation: GIS contracts with Pro-West & Associates and the City of Farao: Dakota <br />Bridae Builders: Dennis Neumiller <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the <br />following contracts submitted by respective department head, subject <br />to state's attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SRF Consulting Group--County Highway 17 corridor study; <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation--Sheriffs Department traffic safety grant; <br />Pro-West & Associates, Inc.--contract for GIS Services; <br />
